Another from Wednesday (September 2021) evening's moonrise at Folkestone... 98% and a Harvest Moon
This was as the moon rose just enough to gain a bit of detail that had been masked by the dust and pollution which hugged the horizon and also gave The Moon its deep red/orange colour. The Moon changed from deep red, through to orange then yellow and on to bright white in very short time.
This exposure was slightly faster than the last which enabled me to gain a touch more detail on the moon but as a compromise lost all detail in the landscape, barring the Lighthouse.

Folkestone Lighthouse And Moonrise From Mermaid about a mile from the pier head. 

A lot of planning and a ridiculous amount of exposures to get the light from The Lighthouse tracking out to sea, along with the surrounding glow. I wanted to get the appearance of The Lighthouse calling out, or even pulling The Moon towards it.
