The night of 12th August into the morning of the 13th produced a fabulous and spectacular meteor shower. No moon and no clouds and the night was perfect. I went to Reculver and may aim was to take a time lapse and then use the best pictures from there to compose a single image, along with the time lapse film. Although it would have been best to face north for the shooting stars, I felt that facing the other way I should still be able to capture enough and also The Milky Way drifting across The Towers. Luckily there was just a whole load of them, whizzing all over the place...just amazing!! I took two pictures per minute for three hours or so, until the tide beat me off the beach; the sea was just inches off my camera in the end as I stood over knee deep. I took 360 odd images in all. I then took the best of the shooters and brought them into a single image.
