Friday evening/night (8th October 2021), **The Street at Tankerton, Whitstable and it was the peak of the Draconids meteor shower. It wasn't the busiest of meteor showers, with Draco The Dragon not exactly playing ball, but I did manage to capture a few and bring them together into one pic. This is the best of the ones I caught on camera (only 12 altogether), In a 3 hour or so period, taking 425 (yes 425!🤪), 25 second exposures.
**A very unusual (some say unique) shingle spit locally named "The Street" extends into the sea to the east of the harbour, formed by the local currents. It is exposed at low tide, and visitors, ignoring the warning signs, are sometimes trapped by the advancing tide, needing to be rescued by the local RNLI lifeboat.
