Just before moonset and some lovely earthshine on the moon, looking towards Herne Bay. (Earthshine is a dull glow which lights up the unlit part of the Moon because the Sun's light reflects off the Earth's surface and back onto the Moon.) I took this at dead low water, out on the sands in my waders in front of Reculver Towers, just before 11pm, over 3 miles from Herne Bay.
