Bioluminescence at Botany Bay, Thanet, Kent, during June 2023

I put my ever trusty waders on to get to some interesting places, along with 20kg of ballast dangling off my tripod, which was at full extent, to prevent any wave movement moving my camera whilst the shutter was open. A long exposure captured the blue in the water and a couple of lucky waves gave off some excellent sparkle. This night the sea was so full of bioluminescent plankton that every step I took lit up!
